Windows 2003 Standard Edition OR Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition
Technical , Server Side Questions , Web Hosting , Windows ServerWindows 2003 Standard Edition vs Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition - what to choose?
Windows Standard Edition supports up to 4 GB of RAM, which is not enough for web servers having many Application Pools. If you are offering top notch services (like a separate app pool for each site) and charging accordingly, then by all means go for Windows Enterprise Edition.

We don’t allow any kind of Proxy Sites on our Servers.

How to Configure Outlook Express or Outllok Express Settings?
:- :- Firstly, create an account for your domain with following details:
Username: user@yourdomain.com
Incoming mail (POP3): mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing mail (SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com
Also please check on” My server requires authentication” option through outlook. and you will be able to successfully send and receive mails using this account and will not experience any error. The SMTP and POP3 Services will work very fine.
or
Try by using your ISP’s SMTP instead of the Host Provider SMTP. You can contact to your ISP for more details. This may solve your problem by using your ISP’s SMTP.
or
If it still does not work , then I suggest you to reconfigure your account in OutLook Express. Please use the following configuration steps :
Use the following instructions for creating a new account in Outlook Express:
1. Go to ‘Tools’
2. Click on ‘Accounts’
3. Go to ‘Mail’
4. Click on the email address you wish to edit, then choose ‘Properties’
5. Go to ‘Servers’
6. Use the following settings:
Incoming Mail: mail.yourdomainname.com

Instructions on how to use your ISP’s SMTP settings:
If you’re using an email client, such as, Outlook or Eudora, you might like to try using your ISP’s smtp settings.

Outgoing mail: mail.yourISP.com
For example, if Earthlink is your ISP, then you’ll use their outgoing mail settings:
mail.earthlink.net
Note : Error ” SMTP and POP3 ” then it is a problem of mozilla ”
If you get the same error message, it is possible that you are trying to connect to the server while you are connected behind a firewall connection. please check the firewall setting as your SMTP and POP mail server port are not block. i.e. check the SMTP port 25 and POP3 port 110. If these are blocked please release it.
To decide the hosting company for your reseller hosting needs look out for the following:
1. What kind of support they are offering ie email only, ticketing system, phone support and a toll free phone. Email only is rather questionable.
2. Do they offer any restrictions to number of accounts in each package, This is a trap to keep you upgrading.
3. Do they offer over selling, yes it has a disadvantage, yet the way things are frankly new business cannot survive without it.
4. Do they offer domain registration reseller services as well? This keeps you compact.
5. Response time to early sales requests. If they are slow in sales cannot be good in support.
6. Years of experience. Do a whois lookup to see the domain life, OLD IS GOLD, thought the young ones can be even better.
7. Do they provide your name servers ie ns1.yourdomainname you shall need that.
8. Does the offering include dedicate IP and SSL, again at some point of time you shall need these.
9.. If you like them DISREAGARD, all the point listed above…
10. You shall be able to add at least on point to it yourself.
You can purchase minimum of 1 GB of storage space for US$ 5/month.
1 GB = US$ 5/month

5 GB = US$ 15/month
The minimum purchase for bandwidth is 10 GB:
10 GB = US$ 10/month
20 GB = US$ 20/month

40 GB = US$ 35/month
There are three main types of NAMESERVERS:
1) CACHING-ONLY name server does lookups of names, but controls no name records itself.
2) PRIMARY name server not only does lookups of names, but also owns the records for a domain.
3) SECONDARY name server does name lookups and it also backs up a primary name server by providing authoritative answers for a certain domain. Many name servers will combine Primary and Secondary functionality for different domains.
