Park and Add-on Domain

Click on ‘Addon Domains’.

Select the domain you wish to remove from your account in the list.

Click on the ‘Delete’ button.

Click on ‘Parked Domains’.

Select the domain you wish to remove in the list.

Click on the ‘Delete’ button.

Click on ‘Parked Domains’, type the domain you wish to point to your account in the field next to New Domain Name and click on the ‘Add’ button. Remember to update the DNS information of this domain at your registrar (where you registered your domain) to point to our name servers.

Example: If you wish to point ‘bobcompany.net’ to your account, you would type ‘bobcompany.net’ in the field and click on the ‘Add’ button.

First of all you need to point the secondarydomain.com to our name servers and allow 24-72 hours for name servers to propagate and resolve to the following name servers:

NS1.MICFO.COM
NS2.MICFO.COM

Then login to your cPanel and click on ‘Addon Domains’ and enter the domain information, as explained below.

New Addon Domain: Enter the domain you wish to add to your account. Remember not to type any ‘http://’ or ‘www’.

Username/Directory name: Enter your desired username for this domain.

Password: Enter a password for this domain.

Click on the ‘Add’ button.

Remember to update the DNS information of this domain at your registrar (where you registered your domain) to point to our name servers.

Example: If you wish to add ‘bobcompany.net’ to your account, you would enter ‘bobcompany.net’ in the field next to New Addon Domain.

Addon Domains are domains that are pointed to subdomains. This means that you can host multiple domains, with different content, in a single web hosting account.

Your main domain is domain.com
Your additional domain names: me.com | you.com

me.com will be pointed to me.domain.com (however me.com will remain in your web browser’s address bar)
you.com will be pointed to you.domain.com (however you.com will remain in your web browser’s address bar)

NOTE: Add-on domains should also be pointed to our name servers as follows:

NS1.MICFO.COM
NS2.MICFO.COM

Parking a domain means pointing a domain at another existing domain on our servers.

You cannot point the domain to a specific page on your account, rather the parked domain will function exactly like the main domain.

If you have domain1.com and domain2.com, you can have a hosting account with domain1.com and park domain2.com on it.

When someone goes to:
www.domain1.com/page2.html   -or-   www.domain2.com/page2.html,

they will get the EXACT same page.
