How to access Plesk Control Panel

To login to Plesk control panel you will need to use the URL format as given below…
https://yourdomain.com:8443

If domain is new and not propogated yet, then you will need to consider using IP address instead of domain name…
https://IP_Address:8443

Backup Site or Database from cPanel

With the help of backup utility from cPanel, you can take full website backup or full database backup. You will need to login to cPanel and then choose the Backup option.

On the backup page you can choose the required option:

Download a home directory Backup
Download a MySQL Database Backup

Installing additional Perl libraries via cPanel - control panel

Yes, only if you are using VPS server or dedicated server.

You can not install these perl libraries at your end, if you are on shared or reseller account.
We can install it for you, if you want additional perl modules. For that you will need to open a support ticket and we will get it done for you.

Click on ‘PhpMyChat’.
Enter the directory, where you wish to install the chatroom in the first field.
Enter the admin username and password.
Click ‘Install’.

In order to setup additional domains through WHM / WebHostManager, please login to the control panel and follow these steps:

1. Create a package according to the available disk space and bandwidth you have.

For example: If you are based on MG Super package and you want to create additional 5 accounts through WHM, create a package with 200 MB of storage space and 7 GB of Bandwidth.

2. Upgrade/downgrade your primary domain name to the package you’ve created.

3. Click on ‘Create a New account’, input the necessary information.
4. Now you can access the control panel of the new domain at:
http://IP_Address/cPanel [Replace the ‘IP_address’ with given IP shown on WHM after the account was created.]

Note: That all the domains should be pointed to the following name servers if they are not already.

Yes, right after you signup with our services, you will receive welcome e-mail, which contains your account information such as IP address, username, password, control panel URL and other necessary details in order for you to get started.

Then you can login to your control panel, regardless if your domain is already pointed to our name servers or not. The temporary URL will be as follow:
http://servername.micfo.com/cPanel

Note: Replace the servername with your actual server name, which is included in the welcome e-mail.

You need to first create Package using your WebHostManager.

Once the package is created according to the available disk space and bandwidth, click on Create a New Account, input necessary information of your new domain name and then assign the package you created from Package drop-down menu.

Click on “Disk usage” and click on the “Show Top Level” button.

Click on “Disk usage” and click on the “Show Files Sizes as bytes” button.
